Data Management
The department of data management is responsible for the processing of the different data flows at the RMI. It develops and supports the meteorological products like sattelite imagery, the website,... for internal as well as external customers.
Main activities
- Developing meteorological products
In collaboration with the service users' Interface, several product are developed and managed for internal use as well as for external clients.
- Online services
The management of the website, offerind products online, ...
- Database management
Almost all raw meteorological data is stored in an relational database. The management of this database and the automatic data quality checks is one of the tasks of this department.
